- Trained in Italian, Mediterranean, and French cuisine since the age of 19, he became a head chef at a hotel at the age of 26. 27 years old, he visited India and discovered the fascination of spices, which awakened him to world cuisine, and since then he has become a "traveling chef" learning to cook while traveling to 30 countries around the world.
After returning to Japan, he opened the "World's Feast Palermo" restaurant for 17 years, and became the talk of the town when he organized the "World's Feast Earth Marathon" in which he served dishes from 195 countries (the number of all countries recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the time) over a period of two years.
He then turned his attention to manufacturing and selling pre-packaged products, hoping that people could enjoy the tastes of the world at home.
His books include "Sekai no Gochiso: Tabi x Recipe" (IKAROS PUBLICATIONS, LTD.), a collection of travel memoirs and recipes, and "Ouchi de Tsukureru Sekai no Recipe" (World Recipes from 196 Countries), which covers the cuisine of the world and won the Recipe Book Award's Special Selection Committee Member's Prize. 45,000 copies (Writes Publishing, Inc.), and "Sekai no otsumami recipe" (World snack recipes) (SHUFU TO SEIKATSU SHA CO., LTD.).
